Food and drinks on board a gulet

You'll be truly amazed at the amount of gourmet and casual dining possibilities you'll find on board a gulet cruise. Gulets can be in standard category regarding the accommodation, but the food experience can still totally take your breath away!

Chefs on board of gulets are used of standing ovations while they are bringing all the food to your table. Forget the lines in restaurants, searching for free table and smell of food from the kitchen. Here you will have your own waiter, table on deck with a sea view and the experience of dining “al fresco” all the time – this way the food tastes even more amazing!

Food planning starts already before your arrival. It all starts around 5 weeks before arrival to gulet with the thing called "Preference list". On this lists clients will find all the important questions about their food expectations. These information will be used for the chef and crew who can prepare for client’s arrival exactly uppoun clients wishes. You wish to eat French fries all week? You like lobsters? Or you are a meat lover? Not a problem.  Upon arrival to gulet a chef will stock the yacht with food and other provisions regarding client’s exact wishes.  However there is a connection between a general standard of food and the price that clients are paying.

The costs of food depends on clients wishes and wearies from 250 €/person/week to 300 €/person/week for half board (breakfast and lunch) or 330 €/person/week to 500 €/person/week for full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). If requested also ultra luxury menu with lots of fish, lobsters and other VIP highest quality of food imaginable. (please ask for the price).

These prices include breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea&coffee (dinners are normally optional). All drinks (water, soft or alcoholic) are available on board at extra cost. Clients can take an all inclusive possibility (on most of the gulets) or buy the drinks from ships bar at reasonable prices. On very rare gulets it is allow to bring own drinks on board!
